On top of needing a better calibration, this should also really be an ECLP. Liquidity for stUSDS above 1:1 (in redemption units) is wasted liquidity. ECLPs give much more efficient liquidity than Stableswap by cutting the waste. And you can still calibrate for downwards liquidity as far as you want to incentivize. It makes a very big difference for something that is likely to trade hundreds of bps below peg where you can't conentrate liquidity around 1:1 too much (and so there is a lot of waste at the prices that aren't relevant).
