Okay so I was halfway serious about this. I'm actually very curious about how to game Twitter payouts. You need 5m minimum impressions to get paid (probably not much).
We all know rage bait is easy impressions, but here's what I'm finding:
- Comments on high engagement posts are the easiest farms. Making you own post circulate, or getting a quote tweet to catch obviously works for some, but you need to catch retweets or it has no legs, and that's challenging for a small account, even posting identical content to large accounts.
- Car accidents are the easiest niche to jump into. Posting about political topics, wellness, etc., it seems like you need a certain personal brand to get engagement.
- Within the niche of car accidents, find accidents involving cyclists, motorcycles, scooters, any non-car on the road. Drivers are easy to bait. ALWAYS take a position against the car. No matter what happens, the car is always wrong. Most people are drivers, so they'll comment.
- When someone responds to argue with you, argue back. Always. Keep it going. The more engagement on your comment, the higher it ends up in the comments. And a lot of people can't resist expanding the whole thing, giving you a hugely amplified return on your successful post.
Can't wait to share my payout, which will probably be too small for the work, but maybe I need to start a dedicated AI crash bait account if this works.
