I've built my entire career just by genuinely trying to help people.
Right now, I've got 10+ friends from CT I'm helping (or have helped) land jobs, and about 10 companies asking me for talent as we speak.
I just remember who needs what and connect the dots. It's led to job offers, appreciation, network expansion, you name it.
This is just one example. I also try to send dealflow to VC friends, connect defi protocols to liquidity, Auditors to protocols. Just seeing an opportunity and giving a helping hand has proven to be extremely useful.
